I love introspective rap. And Maryland’s own Rob Regal gives it by the dozens on his track “The Soul” which loops the instrumental of another dope mc – Kendrick Lamar. He speaks on everything from family losses, the rap/blog game and everything else on his mind since his 1 year hiatus. Talk that shit, family.
Have another round on Allen. The uptown MC drops a video directed by LLAMA for “Liqu-her / Phorreal (Interlude)” off of his Happy Hour EP. I never tried picking up a girl in a Liquor store, maybe that works. Seriously, the video is dope and I sing like that sometimes too. Definitely worth checking out (The video, not my singing. Ok, my singing too).
Anyone who knows me well, knows I’m all about that 36 Chambers life. So I’m very critical of all Wu tracks, be it from the members themselves or anyone else. However, you give props where it’s due. They killed this. Love the flip. Produced by Qu’Burr Gooding, Yung Nate & Qu’Ality definitely do the Killah Bees justice.
