Started work on a side project of mine. I want to post up some illustrations all over my own desk. To start things off, Wu-Tang. More specifically, Enter the Wu: 36 Chambers. Easily one of my favorite albums of all time. Found some reasonably cheap paint sharpies and went to work. I plan to do another set towards the lower end of the desk, but I’m thinking maybe Bleach. What can I say, I’m a sucker for anime.
Finally! Jae Tips is back with new music. We get a look into what’s been going on in his life since 343. Bills, taking care of a home, raising a kid, the end results of past decisions, etc. Real life shit. I’m looking forward to seeing how much he’s grown as an artist. If ‘Label Whore’ (which was produced by Rubirosa) is any indication, his upcoming project “Hypebeast” (21.1) will surely be a gem.
You can’t just come into the jungle and try to upset the hierarchy without getting dealt with. Directed by Jaison Blackrose, BX’s Tray Pizzy releases a new video for the banger “Oh No” off his Truman Show project. Definitely worth checking out if you haven’t already. Lots of appearances from NY’s underground scene in this one. Can you spot them all?
