The Creed

The Creed

We’ve all seen it before. Really terrible cosplay. The kind that makes you squint your eyes, tilt your head in confusion and it takes way longer than the time you set aside for stupid shit to guess what they actually are

Any of us that have actually been to a cosplay convention know that they are littered across the floor, and don’t get me wrong, they have every right to be there as any other individual. You have to start SOMEWHERE with your cosplay. But that willingness to participate and be apart of the overall spirit of the convention DOES NOT take away from the fact that your cosplay sucks.

However, of course in a place where amateur meets professional, it is destined to run across FLAWLESS cosplays. It’s inevitable.

You know these. People that have the time, money, and dedication to create awesome AWESOME cosplays. And as good as these are, as paramount as they are to the overall creative nature of cosplayers everywhere, there are two who have actually managed to catch the attention outside of the cosplay-sphere, out of the gaming-sphere and right into the living room of the creators of the ones they made their-selves in the images of.

The husband-wife (and baby makes three) combo Rick and Dominique Boer are no strangers to the toils it takes to create a great cosplayer. Rick has cosplayed as a number of things in the past. Under his own production company RBF-Productions, he has brought to life bad-ass renditions of some character from Metal Gear Solid called Solid Snake, Sub-Zero, Link from Zelda, and Boba Fett.

BUT, however, the costume that he’s created that has brought notoriety to him and his wife, Dominique, are his flawless renditions of Connor and Aveline from Assassin’s Creed 3.

Ubisoft even warmed up to them, and who can blame them? This is the best publicity for the game, that the game has ever seen.

Here’s a video of him trying the capture of Connor
