Litefeet: A Documentary on NYC Subway Performers

“What time is it? SHOWTIME!” If you live in NYC you know exactly what’s about to happen next. A group of teenagers (with attitude…couldn’t resist the Power Rangers reference.) get on the train and for atleast 1 stop, perform dance routines. If the riders are generous enough, they also leave with some cash. However, that’s no longer the case as this form of street dancing (on trains) has now been ruled illegal by NY Police Commissioner, Bill Bratton as an extension of the ‘Broken Windows theory’. Tough. (Although, you have to admit, sometimes it can be annoying.) The documentary, created by Scott Carthy, follows a crew of dancers (The W.A.F.F.L.E crew) all the way up to their very last performance.
