Shia LaBeouf: What?

Nobody can really explain what exactly Shia LaBeouf has been going through. He seems to be in a place where he is…constantly loud, and uproariously hilarious.

For me, this obsession with the cluelessness I have about Shia started with this:

Although he was not personally responsible for being called an actual cannibal, the dime had been dropped, snowball was rolling, we were setting a precident for how we would view him going forward.

Then he helps. He appears in a theatorical performance of ACTUAL CANNIBAL SHIA LABEOUF.

It was at this point that I was endeared to the fact that I would never figure this guy out. I don’t think I’m supposed to.

The latest of Shia’s shennanigans are his clips, at random. The first? This awesomely BAD but almost kinda good freestyle where he looks like he’s spent for months at some hippie convention in the mountains that spotlighted THINGS THAT RHYMES. He mentions Harriet Tubman for some odd reason.

Then came the SHIA LEBEOUF DO IT VIDEOS. Oh, oh boy.

And they kept getting funnier…and funnier…

Until we get to this one, where I personally cried.

At this point, he has to be destined for a greatness we simply cannot understand.

The Seinfeld Experience

This past weekend I missed out on a dream chance to actually walk through a recreated set (as part of a partnership with Hulu to celebrate the streaming of all 180 episodes) of Jerry’s Apartment. As a super fan you can see how this was disappointing. Sadly, even arriving with 3 hours to spare wasn’t enough as the line wrapped around 3 corners. Infact, they closed it down due to the insane amount of people.

Sigh.

That got me thinking, why not just create my own Seinfeld experience? The show IS based here in NYC. So for the rest of the summer, I’ll be hitting different parts of the city to recreate many of the famous scenes found in the show. To start things off, the obvious choice had to be Tom’s Restaurant. The owner, Tom, happened to be in a sharing mood and told some of the stories of when Jerry & Kramer would visit the famous spot many years ago. Even Obama once upon a time. Must’ve been my lucky day.

I’ll be updating this periodically with new photos, so you should probably check back soon.

Ghostface Killah x Heineken Green Room

IMG_2264-e1435631636125One of my favorite rappers ever, possibly of all time, took to the Heineken Green Room stage and did what he does best. If you’re a Wu fan you missed a great show. Shoutout to YC the Cynic for opening as well as Sheek Louch for coming through and dropping some of his most memorable verses throughout the years. Drinks (Provided by Heineken ofcourse) and rap music, what more do you need? All in all, if you’re a fan of Tony Starks he definitely repped for all the Apollo Kids.
