Taco Interlude

If I’m rolling solo, this is my favorite Taco spot to visit. Super lowkey and I can just kick it in silence.  Did that sound lonely? who cares, I love it. The workers are super nice and it’s about the size of a NY studio apartment so there’s never too many people around at one time. Perfect for me. Today was a good day and I got some shots before people started filing in.

New Attack on Titan Live Action Trailer

Preface. For some of you who aren’t all that familiar with Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin) I’ll give you a little briefer. In some nondescript German..European town of some sort, a 50 foot wall has been built around it. There are actually three, the outer one being Maria (that’s the one you’l see that big ass Titan hovering over with the hot ass breath), the middle Rose and the inner most one that protects the King, Sina.

The reason this wall exist is because for some unknown unexplained reason (there is a reason BUT YOU’LL HAVE TO READ TO FIND OUT) these humanoid monsters ranging from “Wow, that’s tall,” to “WOW THAT’S PRETTY DAMN TALL” to “WOW WHAT THE FUCK,” showed up and began eating humans (without a real need, they have no stomachs.)

So, that’s about all the information you need (other than the first episode of the Anime is terrifying and irrevocably sad.)

WITH THAT BEING SAID, Japan (God Bless You, Japan) has decided that Shingeki no Kyojin needed not only a movie, but a live action movie that will be offered in 4D (I didn’t even know that was a real thing in regards to movies. Again, God Bless, Japan.)

And dat-da-dadaaaaaaa! Here is the latest trailer for it.

And here is a nice translation provided to us by the good people over at Anime News Network:

House of Vans feat. Pusha T

House of Vans threw a small shindig over the weekend featuring DJ Envy, Vince Staples & Pusha T. We had a great view from the skate ramp of the entire thing. I was expecting a big turnout for their ‘Almost Summer’ series, but instead what we got was ENORMOUS. Yeah, that seems more accurate. Try picturing 7-8 blocks worth of people standing in line for a shot to get in.  Nuts. The place holds roughly 900 at capacity, but there was no way everyone got in. Atleast it didn’t seem that way.

DJ Envy’s set was bananas. Probably the best DJ set I’ve sit in for quite awhile. He really killed. Vince’s mic was a bit muffled but he brought out the energy and dedicated fans rapped bars word for word. He even did some new work off of his upcoming Summertime ’06 project.

The night however belong to The Neighborhood Pusher. We got joints of Fear of God, Wrath of Caine and ofcourse, My Name is My Name. He really put on a show. The best part for ME however, was hearing Grindin’. That literally took me back to the days of recreating the beat on lunchroom tables. Overall, it was a great time. Shoutout to HoV for the dope event.
